Mike Leach to talk politics at LARW function Feb. 14th

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

In just one week from tomorrow, Valentine's Day to be exact, former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach will be back in Lubbock. But this visit isn't about sports - it's about politics.

Leach will be speaking at the Lubbock Area Republican Women's annual membership drive and plans to discuss his stance as a conservative Republican.

He'll also be signing copies of his new book, "Swing Your Sword" which will be available for purchase at the event.

Tickets are $35 per person and $60 per couple. The price includes a rib-eye steak dinner, a glass of champagne and dessert.

The event is starts at 7:00 p.m. at 4 Bar K, located on East 82nd St. and Cedar Ave.

This is a RSVP only event. To purchase tickets, email president@larw.org prior to Monday, February 11, 2013.
