LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
A local grocery chain is helping in the fight against women's cancer.
United Supermarkets partnered with General Mills to present a $10,000 check to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund during halftime of the Lady Raiders vs. West Virginia basketball game Wednesday evening.
The 2 companies also donated $5,000 to the Marsha Sharp Leadership Circle.
But that's not all - guests who went to the game dressed in pink only paid $5 at the door.
Over the past 4 years, United and General Mills have presented a combined $45,000 to these organizations.
