Alcohol Sales on Littlefield Ballot - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Alcohol sales could soon be yet another boost to the Littlefield economy.

On September 11th, voters will go to the polls and vote on whether alcohol package sales should be permitted within city limits.

Littefield resident Chad Wright spearheaded the effort to make the election happen. Wright collected more than 1,000 signatures in 60 days.

Now, he says he'll spend the next month, getting more residents registered to vote, so that alcohol sales could become a reality in Littlefield.
