#1 Baylor too much for the Lady Raiders

WACO, TX (KCBD) -

Top ranked Baylor showed why they have now won 52 straight at home and 35 consecutive Big 12 games as they knocked off the Lady Raiders 89-47 in Waco.

Baylor led by 20 at the half and opened the 2nd half on a 19-0 run to coast to the easy victory. The Lady Bears beat Tech in Lubbock earlier this season 90-60.

Chynna Brown led Tech with 15 points. Brittany Griner was one of 4 Lady Bears in double figures with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 7 blocks.

Tech is back home Sunday to host Texas at 2:30 p.m. The entire 1993 National Championship Lady Raider team will be on hand and honored at halftime for winning the NCAA Crown 20 years ago.
