Sandoval Set to Go On Trial for Murder

An alleged murderer is scheduled to go on trial in Lubbock on Monday. Armando Sandoval is charged with the murder of his common law wife.

The 30 year-old faces life in prison if convicted. Sandoval is accused of stabbing 26 year-old Christina Moreno on March 17, 2003.

The investigation also shows there is evidence that Moreno may have suffered from asphyxiation and blunt force trauma.
