LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock City Council member wants some city employees to be evaluated on a yearly basis.

District One Councilman Victor Hernandez says he's considering submitting this proposal for the council's agenda.

The next meeting is on the February 28th.

Councilman Hernandez says historically, employee evaluations of the city secretary, city attorney, and city manager have not been consistent.

He says he believes that it is the council's duty to provide direction, as well as evaluate these city officials.
