Murder Trial of Armando Sandoval Begins - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The murder trial of a Lubbock man started Monday morning in a Lubbock courtroom.

30-year-old Armando Sandoval is charged with the murder of his common law wife, Christina Moreno. If convicted, Sandoval faces up to life in prison.

Sandoval is accused of stabbing 26-year-old Christina Moreno to death on March 17 of last year following a domestic dispute. There is also evidence that Moreno may have suffered from asphyxiation and blunt force trauma as well.
