Woman Dies in Collision on County Road - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

DPS Troopers are investigating a fatal accident that occurred just before 7 p.m. on Monday night. It happened at the intersection of Farm to Market roads 1729 and 40.

Troopers say the driver of a Nissan Sentra failed to yield the right of way to a red Chevy truck at the intersection. Aerocare rushed the female driver of the Sentra to Covenant Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the pickup was also taken to the hospital. No word on his condition.
