Lubbock Police Investigating Traffic Accident as Homicide

Lubbock Police are now investigating an early morning accident as a homicide.

A preliminary investigation showed 28-year-old Russell James Baldree died of injuries sustained in an accident in the 3200 block of 50th St around 3:30am Monday. Now, however, police say autopsy results show Baldree died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
