Beating bone loss before it gets bad is the idea behind a new low dose drug patch for Osteoporosis. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has given the green light to Menostar.
This patch is as small as a dime, and the makers say it contains the lowest dose of estrogen available to prevent bone loss. Instead of taking medication every day, women using this patch just replace it once a week.
Again, it's called Menostar, and it should be in pharmacies nationwide very soon.
