You know ticks spread Lyme Disease, and mice pick up ticks and carry them to people places, but researchers at Bayer Environmental Science have developed a new tick management system -- at least when it comes to mice.
They've built a little box that's sort of a car wash for mice. The rodents are attracted inside the box, and when they leave, they brush against a wick that squirts them with a tick killing insecticide.
In cities they've tried this so far, tick populations dropped by 80% after a year with the devices in place.
