Lubbock man stabbed inside his home Friday morning

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Police say Miguel Mendoza, 43, was stabbed inside his home Friday morning by an unknown suspect.

The incident happened in the 2900 block of Dartmouth around 10:45 a.m.

Police say Mendoza called 911, and when police went into his home they found him stabbed multiple times. Police have not said exactly where he was stabbed or how many times, but that the injuries were life-threatening.

As of Friday evening he is in critical condition at the hospital.

Police say person's crimes detectives were called to the scene, as well as homicide detectives who stayed at the home for nearly five hours collecting evidence.

So far police have not been able to locate a suspect or give a possible description.
