Five Vehicles involved in Multi-Car Pile-Up

A rear-end collision in South Lubbock Wednesday morning started a chain reaction crash that involved five vehicles.

The incident happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 98th and Gary when a vehicle was hit from behind in the west-bound lane of 98th street. One man suffered moderate injuries in the accident.

The intersection is currently under construction as part of the 98th street widening project.
