Road conditions update

From TxDOT:

All roads in the Lubbock District's 17 counties area are open to traffic and passable at this time.

Many of the roadways in Castro, Swisher and Hale counties still have areas with snow/icy and high snow drifts adjacent to the roadways. Motorist are urged to continue to travel with extreme caution throughout the South Plains overnight and in the morning.

Lubbock area crews will continue to monitor road and bridge conditions overnight.
