Stormchasers, KCBD team on hand for Severe Weather Awareness Day

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Here in West Texas, we're no strangers to severe weather.

Our First Alert forecast team was on hand Saturday as the Science Spectrum held their 7th Annual Severe Weather Awareness Day.

They were joined by stormchasers from Texas Tech, but the main attraction was probably Sean Casey from the documentary Tornado Alley and his tornado proof tornado intercept vehicle.
