LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) has earned national recognition. Thursday, they were presented with the W.O. Lawton Business Leadership Award, the only one to be presented this year to any company in the nation.
This award recognizes excellence in developing workers skills to promote career growth.
LEDA was nominated by their business partner, Workforce Solutions South Plains. Both LEDA and Workforce Solutions South Plains played an integral part in bringing the South Plains Center for Productivity and Innovation to Lubbock.
LEDA will officially receive the award on Monday in Washington D.C.
