Funeral services were held Tuesday for two Lubbockites killed in a plane crash.
Robert Pearson and his 18-year-old son Jacob died Saturday night. Robert owned Gill Construction Company here in Lubbock. Jacob had just graduated this year from Coronado High School.
The National Transportation Safety Board tells NewsChannel 11 that it appears the plane broke up in flight before crashing in Burnet County. Their investigation now moves inside where the NTSB will examine other factors like temperature, weather and flight plans.
