LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Drivers in central Lubbock may want to avoid the intersection of 8th Street & Avenue Q on Saturday morning.
At 7:30 a.m. accident investigators will close off the intersection to map out Wednesday's accident.
Police say 22-year-old Travis Tickle ran a stop sign at the intersection around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.
His car was hit by another car, which knocked it into a pickup truck and two other vehicles before it rolled into the parking lot of the Holiday Inn.
Two people in the pickup truck were injured. Tickle was treated and released.
Investigators expect to have the intersection closed off for a few hours.
