LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Florida man is in the Lubbock County Jail Friday night after police say he touched a 9-year-old girl inappropriately.

30-year old Humberto Martinez is being charged with indecency with a child and sexual contact.

According to the arrest warrant, Martinez was with his girlfriend's daughter at the Mahon Library on Monday, looking for a job on the computer.

Police say Martinez showed the child his genitals and touched her inappropriately until she ran away.

He is being held on a $50,000 dollar bond.
