IDALOU, TX (KCBD) -
Family and friends of 8-year-old Elijah Urrutia held a car wash Saturday to assist the family. The child died Thursday afternoon after a tragic go-cart wreck in Idalou.
Elijah was riding in the passenger seat when the driver lost control and flipped into a ditch.
If you missed Saturday's car wash and would still like to help the family, they're holding another one Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the former Lacks building at 4602 Avenue Q in Lubbock.
A fund has also been set up in memory of Elijah at the Vista Bank.
