Helping Classmate with Medical Bills After Stabbing

A Lubbock teen remains hospitalized in critical condition Friday, more than three weeks after being stabbed at a local park. Now, his classmates are trying to help with medical bills.

Students from Lubbock Cooper High School organized a car wash Friday morning to benefit Thomas Fuller, otherwise known as "T.C." Students hope to organize a number of other fundraisers in the future.

Fuller was stabbed during an fight at Charles Guy Park in the 3800 Block of 93rd Street, July 22nd. The 17-year-old suffered critical wounds to the torso and back.
