Spring officially begins today - specifically, it began at 6:02 AM.
The morning was cold, with
temperatures running slightly below average. There are 20s showing up over the
northwest KCBD viewing area. The afternoon will be quite seasonable with highs
in the 60s. Late this afternoon we will see increasing cloudiness and winds,
with gusts near 30 mph possible.
Temperatures soar tomorrow afternoon and will top out in the 70s and 80s. Winds
will increase, too, with some blowing dust. It will not be as bad as Sunday's
dust and sand storm.
Much cooler, but typical, temperatures are on tap for Friday.
Significant
weather is headed our way this weekend. Saturday is shaping up to be very windy
with areas of low visibility in widespread blowing dust. Following the wind and
dust some much cooler, or colder, air will move in. A hard freeze is a
possibility. Temperatures will remain below average for several or more days.
