Just more than a month ago NewsChannel 11 showed you the story of Wilbur. He is a furry friend that needed the community's help to get moving.
Wilbur is an orphan dog at the Haven Animal Shelter. He suffered a gun shot wound that paralyzed his back legs. He also lost two of his ribs due to cancer. Now after more than $4,000 in donations Becki Robinette with the Haven Animal Shelter, says Wilbur is doing better and has a new set of wheels.
"I don't believe that he would be doing as well as he is now if he hadn't got these wheels, absolutely", said Becki Robinette.
