Lubbock
ISD will introduce parents and patrons to a new smartphone app designed to
provide easier and more convenient access to district information, the first of
it's kind for a school district in West Texas.
The app is free and
available through both the Apple iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
The introduction and demonstration will begin at 10:45 a.m. in room 204 of the
Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center (ATC), 3201 Avenue Q.
Visitors
should enter through the west door located in between the ATC main entrance and
LISD-TV. Visitors will be able to access free Wi-Fi hotspots to insure
quick download and full-featured performance.
