Painting with a Twist, an art and social studio in Lubbock will host a Painting with a Purpose charity event on Thursday, March 28th from 6-9 p.m. to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.
Each month, Painting with a Twist franchises from across the nation hold fundraisers through the Painting with a Purpose program to benefit local charities. For this event, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest. In 2011, Painting with a Twist locations donated more than $80,000 to local groups and in 2012, the funds donated exceeded $100,000.
"We're delighted to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest to help raise funds and increase awareness," says Painting with a Twist of Lubbock's Owner, Ronda Hoes. "Community involvement is of utmost importance to us. We are thrilled to be helping a local group in need."
