Texas Tech Athletic Tickets Now Easier to Come By

Starting Monday, for the first time in history, you will be able to purchase Texas Tech football tickets at all Select-A-Seat outlets. The announcement was made Sunday at United Market Street, which is just one of the locations where tickets will be available.

It's not only football tickets. Tickets for all Texas Tech sporting events will be sold there. Before now, all Tech athletic tickets had to be purchased through the Tech ticket office.

"This allows people, especially in the outlying areas, to purchase tickets. Before, they had to come to Lubbock and find out if they are available. Now they can call, they can go to their local United Supermarket, and if there are tickets available, they can buy it right there and they can walk out of United Supermarket with a ticket that day," says Murray Hensley, President of Select-A-Seat.

Tickets through Select-A-Seat go on sale Monday morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tickets will be available at all United Supermarkets in the area, Ralph's Records & Tapes, Dollar Western Wear, and all Select-A-Seat locations.
