Local stylists clipped for a cause Sunday as part of the 3rd annual Cuts for the Cure event.
The event was a fundraiser for Susan G. Komen organization, working to support breast cancer research.
Customers paid $10 dollars for a shampoo and a haircut Sunday, all of which went to the foundation.
Those involved said they were proud to step up and support a cause so near and dear to their hearts.
Lisa Baker, co-owner of Faux Real Hair Design, said "Seventeen years ago I lost my mother in law to breast cancer. Now I have a little girl so to me it's a very worthwhile cause."
Seven local stylists and a guest stylist from Midland teamed up to support raising funds for breast cancer awareness.
