Lubbock ties record low for date on Monday

Posted: Updated:

This morning, Lubbock tied its record low for the date (March 25). The record is 20 degrees, in 1996 and 1955. Yesterday morning Lubbock's low was just one degree shy of the record of 22 degrees for March 24.

Monday afternoon will be chilly - similar to Sunday afternoon - and not too bad if you are in the sun. It will be a mostly sunny afternoon.

Tuesday morning will again be cold, but the afternoon will be warmer, though with a bit of a breeze.

Wednesday afternoon will be much warmer.
