LUBBOCK – Covenant Health and Kohl's are working together to help out expecting and new dads. The new parent boot camp will be held on March 30 at the fifth floor classroom at Covenant Women's and Children's. The dads will attend from 9-11 a.m. Moms are encouraged to meet up with the dads and attend from 11 a.m.-noon.
The purpose of the event is to let the participants learn from other men in the community that have successfully made the transition into fatherhood. Some topics that will be covered include: becoming a dad, forming a new family, caring for new moms, becoming comfortable with new babies, how to bond, and creating a safe environment for a new family.
