Fines Increase for Red Light Violations

Blatantly running red lights and stop signs will now cost you significantly more money. Lubbock Municipal Court Judge, Robert Doty, announced fine increases at Monday's city council work session.

The fine for running a red light or stop sign used to be $187. It is now $212.

The fine for a rolling stop jumped from $127 to $132.
