At this time Lubbock and Plainview are not included. Storms are possible across all of the area, the most favorable area for large hail and high winds will be in the watch area.

Storms will end later tonight with p/cloudy skies expected tomorrow and warm with a high of 80-82. There is a slight chance of storms again east of Lubbock Saturday evening.

Small hail is possible with thunderstorm on the southwest side of the city. Strongest storms are northeast of Lubbock, moving east and southeast. Best chance for severe weather will be east of Lubbock as well, where a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 11 p.m.
