Chilly weather to linger through Wednesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Cloudy skies continue today with areas of fog, drizzle and freezing drizzle occurring. Temperatures will be colder than normal with highs in the 30s and 40s. North winds remain gusty at 15 to 25 mph.

Light rain remains possible tonight with areas of fog and drizzle expected. Below freezing temperatures are possible, especially northwest of Lubbock. We could see freezing drizzle during the overnight hours and this could create slick spots on area roadways overnight through Wednesday morning.

Clouds continue Wednesday with a chance of rain showers. It will be cold with highs in the 40s once again. North winds continue.
