Plainview Warden Resigns Among Allegations Of Misconduct

After nearly 20 years on the job, a senior warden with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice has resigned among allegations of misconduct.

Eddie Pigg was the Senior Warden of the Formby and Wheeler State Jails in Plainview. His resignation was effective Monday. But now, the TDCJ says the office of the inspector general is investigating allegations of misconduct made by staff members, though specifics of what those allegations might be, are not currently available.

The Formby and Wheeler Units house non-violent male inmates, serving sentences less than two years.
