Texas Tech baseball swept away in Manhattan 12-2

Texas Tech was swept in its three-game series at Kansas State with a 12-2 loss – 8 innings – in the series finale on Sunday. The game was ended on a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning due to the 10-run rule.

Texas Tech drops to 17-17 overall and to 4-8 in Big 12 play... The K-State Wildcats improve to 23-10 overall and to 6-3 in league play.

The Red Raiders will continue their five-game road trip on Tuesday, April 9, at Dallas Baptist with a 6:30 p.m. first pitch at Horner Ballpark in Dallas.
