Covenant hosts Parkinson's symposium

Posted: Updated:

Parkinson's disease is a common nervous disorder that has options for treatment but no cure.

The easily identifiable symptoms of Parkinson's are shaking or tremors, but other early signs may include: slow movements, little or no expression on the face, arms not swinging when walking, soft or slurred speech, and a sufferers handwriting may become much smaller as the condition worsens over time.

If you would like to learn more about Parkinson's disease, Covenant is holding a free symposium all day Friday, April 12th at the Knipling Center. Please call 725-0941 by Tuesday April 9th to reserve your spot. Lunch will be provided.
