Red Raiders resume practice in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Tech football team returned to practice at ATT Jones Stadium on Monday after a successful trip to Midland.

Over 7,000 strong came out to watch Kliff Kingsbury and the 2013 spring squad scrimmage at Grande Communication Stadium in Midland on Saturday.

"It was a fun time. It was more than just a typical crowd. The people seemed really excited and I'm glad we put on a good show," said Jackson Richards, defensive lineman.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders will hold an open practice at AT&T Jones Stadium on Friday April 12th at 8:00 p.m.

The spring game will be held on April 20.
