For the first time in recent memory, the U.S. Postal Service is not offering extended hours on tax day. Instead, they will close at their normal times on Monday.
The Postal Service points to the rise of electronic filing of tax returns as a reason not to extend office hours. Statistics show that 77 percent Americans used e-file last year.
