Woman Allegedly Beats Husband with Baseball Bat

A Lubbock woman is in jail after allegedly beating her husband with a baseball bat.

The incident happened just after 10:30pm Wednesday at a mobile home park in the 1700 block of 90th Street. Police arrived to find Donnie Cowan bleeding from a head wound. Cowan told police his wife hit him with a bat during an argument. Cowan was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Melissa Frady was charged with aggravated assault.
