Councilman Todd Klein to host Coffee with Citizens

From City of Lubbock:

 

This Saturday, April 20th, District 3 City Councilmember Todd Klein will be hosting a Coffee with Citizens. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the United Supermarket at 3405 50th.

 

Attendees are invited to the East Coffee Shop Room where they will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the city's public libraries, the City of Lubbock fiscal budget, reports to the City Council as well as upcoming agenda items and efforts to develop a citizen-leadership program.

 

There will also be two brief presentations:

James Tuttle, local Arborist, will make a presentation on watering and drought conditions.

Jim Malpiede with Family Promise will make a presentation on Child Abuse prevention month and a poem written by a student on the same topic will also be read.

All members of the public are invited to attend.
