Lubbock police looking for armed robbery suspects

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are investigating an armed robbery at a central Lubbock gas station.

Around 6:30 p.m. on April 22, police say a woman entered the Valero gas station on 4257 34th Street near Quaker Avenue carrying a rifle and demanding money. The woman then got into a gold car driven by a black female and took off.

The car was last seen in the West alley of 3400 Peoria Avenue.

The first suspect is described as "a black female 35-45 years of age 5'11 to 6' tall, 275 to 300 pounds, heavy build, wearing black scrubs."

The second suspect is also a black female who was seen driving the suspect vehicle.

The vehicle is described as "a gold passenger vehicle displaying paper tags."

    The Slaton Fire Department has confirmed to KCBD they responded to a mobile home fire in southeast Lubbock around 1:30 Friday morning. Buffalo Springs and Woodrow also responded to the scene. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office says they will provide more information on the incident at 8:00 am.
