Southwest Airlines To Cut Flights; LIA To Lose One

Southwest Airlines is cutting 88 flights this October and Lubbock International Aiport will be effected. The airline is trimming its daily Lubbock-Albuquerque flights from two to one.

Overall, the changes will affect about 3% of Southwest's schedule of 2800 daily flights. Southwest has been hurt by rising costs for jet fuel and labor.
