Tailgate tour stops set for Amarillo and San Antonio

The Red Raider Club has announced new stops for its Tailgate Tour in Amarillo on May 15 and San Antonio on May 21.

The Red Raider Club Tailgate Tour is an event that brings its members together with selected head coaches of various sports at Tech and athletics department administration.  The May portion of the Tailgate Tour will begin in Amarillo on May 15 at the Tri-State Expo (Fairgrounds) from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The event heads to San Antonio on May 21 for a 6:30 p.m. event at the Briscoe Museum.

The Amarillo event will feature athletics director Kirby Hocutt, head football coach Kliff Kingsbury, head soccer coach Tom Stone and head track and field coach Wes Kittley.  In San Antonio, Hocutt and Kingsbury will be joined by head basketball coaches Kristy Curry, Tubby Smith and Tom Stone.  The event in San Antonio will be the first public appearance for Smith with the Red Raider faithful.
