SPC to host 55th annual commencement Friday

From South Plains College:

South Plains College will award 1,544 degrees and certificates at the 55th Annual Commencement Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 10th in Texan Dome. 

The college will honor the 2013 recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award, who will carry the banner as the faculty enters the Texan Dome. Also, the departmental chairpersons and instructional deans selected the following candidates for graduation to carry the divisional banners in the Commencement procession.

The banner bearers are Antonia Stuebler of Berlin, Germany, candidate for the Associate of Science Degree, Division of Arts and Sciences; Jesse Duran of Carlsbad, N.M., candidate for the Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, Division of Health Occupations; and Rachel A. Zikmund of Lubbock, candidate for the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Diesel Service Technology, Division of Technical Education.
