A new report from the census bureau paints a different picture of motherhood today from days gone by.
It says when you look at all the new mothers in their early 20's today, more than 60% are not married. The total number of unwed births increased from 31% in 2005 to 36% in 2011.
Experts say it's a health concern because children born to unmarried mothers are more likely to have developmental delays with little money for treatment.
