LPD searching for forgery suspect

From the Lubbock Police Department:

The incident occurred at the United Supermarket at 2630 Parkway Drive on January 15, 2013 at approximately 3:28 p.m. The suspect presented a check on a closed account to be cashed. The suspect had cashed a check the previous day and the employee remembered her. When the suspect was questioned, she stated she received the check for some work she had done. The suspect t stated the owner of the check was outside. When they went outside, the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is describes as a Hispanic female, 5'3-5'5 with a small to medium build. The suspect was wearing a black toboggan, gray shirt, black coat and gray gloves.
