Dates set for Tubby Smith Basketball Camps

Texas Tech head coach Tubby Smith has set the dates for the 2013 Tubby Smith Basketball Camps to be held on the campus of Texas Tech University.

The Tubby Smith Basketball Camps have three different options to choose from. There is the Texas Tech Team Camp, The Tubby Smith Day Camp and the Tubby Smith Overnight Camp.

The Texas Tech Team Camp is slated for June 14-16 at the United Spirit Arena. It is an $800 per team base rate for 10 student-athletes. The camp will provide competitive experience and all games will be officiated by experienced referees. Coach Smith and the Texas Tech staff will provide demonstrations and discussions on improvement for your team.

The Tubby Smith Day Camp is scheduled for June 17-20 at the United Spirit Arena. This camp is for kindergarten through 12th grade and the cost is $350. The Day Camp is a four-day camp geared to develop and improve campers' individual basketball skills. The camp is open to all ability levels and will provide a positive and fun teaching environment for all campers. Each day will include intense skill instruction from Texas Tech staff and players. The camp hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the last day of camp, campers will be dismissed at noon following an awards ceremony.

The Tubby Smith Overnight Camp is set up for June 20-23 at the United Spirit Arena. The Overnight Camp is for kindergarten through 12th grade and the cost is $475. This four-day, three-night camp will prove an intense week of basketball instruction, development, competition and entertainment. Campers will stay in an air-conditioned dorm on the campus of Texas Tech University. On the last day of camp, campers will be dismissed at noon following an awards ceremony.
