Bikers honoring Lightnin' Dean Saturday

From "See Us, Save Us" Lubbock Biker Awareness:

Memorial services for Heath Lightnin' Dean will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. We will ride from the Boozefighters Clubhouse. Anyone riding needs to arrive no later than 9 a.m. The service will take place at Trinity Church off of the S. Loop. Following the service, bikes will make a ride for Lightnin' around the Loop and then proceed to the Boozefighters Clubhouse for the benefit. Anyone wishing to send flowers can send them to Lake Ridge Funeral Services at 6025 82nd Street in Lubbock.

Sustained winds at 20-30 mph, warm temperatures and low relative humidity values will create an elevated to critical fire weather risk for our area. A cold front will move through our area late tonight, shifting winds out of the north. Monday morning will be cool and breezy.
