Here's an eye-opener, the US ranks worst in the world for school performance among sleepy kids.
This was no small study. Researchers at Boston College looked at 900,000 students, teachers and parents in 50 countries. They compared sleep surveys to test scores, and found roughly three-fourths of the students whose grades suffered were sleep deprived.
The good news is the experts say this problem is easily fixed. If parents make sure their kids get at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night, adding that it helps to take away take away iPads and cell phones at bed time.
