Head injuries lead to thoughts of suicide in military personnel

Repeated head injuries may lead to thoughts of suicide among military personnel.

That's what researchers are finding in studying active duty soldiers in Iraq.

The study of active-duty soldiers in Iraq finds suicidal thoughts in one in five patients who've sustained more than one traumatic brain injury.

Depression and suicide in the military is an increasing concern.
