Power outage update: Storm damage delays some repairs

AEP SWEPCO says about 72% of the nearly 22,000 customers who lost power in Thursday's storms have been restored, but damage to the electric system has prompted some estimated times of restoration to change for the remaining 6,100 customers.

Here are the latest restorations times as provided by AEP SWEPCO (as of 9:30 a.m. Friday) for 95 percent of the customers who can take power:

Stonewall/Frierson: Noon today
Longview: Noon today
Greenwood area: 10 p.m. tonight

SHREVEPORT
Norris Ferry area: 5 p.m. today
Southwest Shreveport around Mansfield Road: 10 p.m. today
South Pines Road area (near Frymaster): 10 p.m. today
Ford Substation in West Shreveport (70th/Pines): 10 p.m. today
Flournoy Substation in West Shreveport (70th/Pines) 2 p.m. tomorrow
